Cape Regional Physicians Associates with over 60 primary care providers and specialists, delivering services in multiple locations throughout Cape May County</p> <p>Candidates should have knowledge of medical insurance terminology, computer skills for scheduling and familiarity of general office procedures and equipment.</p> <p>Experience Required</p> <ul> <li>Greets visitors and assists them during check-in, intake and checkout </li><li>Provides outstanding customer service </li><li>Schedules appointments and records information in Practice Management System ( Electronic Scheduling System) </li><li>Answers to telephone calls and routes appropriately </li><li>Verifies insurance eligibility, ensures requirements are met and explains to patients as needed </li><li>Collects co-pays </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High School graduate or equivalent </li></ul> <p>Special Requirements</p> <ul> <li>One year of experience in customer service or reception, health care environment preferred </li><li>Previous data entry or typing experience and knowledge of basic office equipment required </li><li>Computer experience preferred. Interpersonal skills must be well-developed </li></ul>
