<p>The Adjunct Faculty Radiologic Technology will work closely with the Coordinator to teach courses in the Radiologic Technology program.  Must demonstrate teaching skills by selecting and implementing instructional strategies for teaching, and assessing student achievement of the learning objectives of the program. Teaching experience in Radiologic Technology; Teaching faculty will:</p> <ul> <li>Meet with courses and laboratories at scheduled times. </li><li>Instruct, advise, consult with and evaluate the performance of enrolled students. </li><li>Develop and maintain course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, course reference/bibliography, assignments, tests, and other course materials. </li><li>Maintain student records, attendance, grades, and/or other documentation as required. </li><li>Associate degree in Radiologic Technology </li><li>Current ARRT Certification in Radiology Technology </li><li>Current IEMA IL Radiology or Indiana Radiology unencumber license </li><li>Holds academic and/or professional credentials appropriate to the subject content area taught; </li><li>Must successfully pass a criminal background check. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferred. </li><li>Knowledgeable of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology accreditation standards </li><li>At least three 3-5 years' experience in teaching on a college level and affiliated with an accredited Radiologic Technology program.  Experience with developing didactic and clinical outcomes/curricula on a program and course level. Excellent technology and classroom management skills. </li></ul> <p>STATUS/SALARY:</p> <p>This is a regular adjunct faculty position with salary to be determined by the adjunct faculty union contract.</p>
