Keep reading.</p> <p>Federal is looking for a Technical Writer to create, develop, write, and edit material for manuals, reports, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications.</p> <p>Are you passionate about this work?</p> <ul> <li>Write and edit technical documents including reference manuals and product manuals. </li><li>Write and edit procedural documentation such as user guides and one page lessons. </li><li>Revise published materials based on redlines and recommended revisions from supervisor or others. </li><li>Work under the supervisor's direction to obtain necessary information for daily tasks. </li><li>Create parts and operational manual for legacy equipment using bill of materials, assembly drawings and research. </li><li>Revise manuals when conversions or upgrades occur. </li><li>Gather feedback from customers, engineers, manufacturing, and field service to improve technical documents. </li><li>Assess the audience needs for whom the technical and procedural documentation is intended; adjusts tone and technical terms used to meet those needs and to ensure understanding. </li><li>Help revise Power Point Presentations for management within ProMach. </li><li>Organize material and completes documentation assignment according to set standards regarding timeline, order, clarity, style, and terminology. </li><li>Take video footage of each machine running in a simulated production mode, prior to machine shipment. </li><li>Take photographs of equipment on shop floor for record keeping and documentation purposes. </li><li>Create machine-specific videos based on individual requests from the Sales or Marketing Department; these videos can include graphics, design work, audio, as well as narration. </li><li>Support other Company initiatives such as team boards, 5S documentation, and safety video editing. </li><li>Update and record all machine checklists including the electrical data sheets supplied by Manufacturing; maintain records and files of work following ProMach standards and procedures. </li></ul> <p>What's in it for you?</p> <p>There's no monopoly on good ideas or limits to how far you can advance with our team.
