Must be able to deal with a high volume of calls, talk pleasantly with the public, monitor multiple alarm panels, use two-way radio as needed and aid the Unit Leader with evaluations.</p> <p>Recruiter: Jennifer Gordon || jgordon2@covhlth.com || 865-374-8107</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Prepares work schedules and assigns personnel to those schedules. </li><li>Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, and safety standards. </li><li>Prepare written reports and documentation as required by the department. </li><li>Responds to and resolves problems and complaints raised by physicians, patients, and staff. </li><li>Proficiently answers and routes incoming calls. </li><li>Monitors multiple alarm panels, code phone and two-way communications with security. </li><li>Uses overhead paging for personnel needs or page codes in an efficient manner. </li><li>Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested. </li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Education:</p> <p>None specified; will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job, typically such as would be equivalent to a high school diploma or GED.
