We have opportunities across our various Divisions located throughout the Southeast.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>To assist the Land Acquisition Team to supply the division with the best sites at the best price at the right time.</p> <p>What You'll Assist With:.</p> <ul> <li>Maintain lot market information (zoning, price, terms and competition). </li><li>Identify parcels and lots to determine community feasibility </li><li>Meet with seller to discuss requested deal terms and seller motivation </li><li>Prepare contracts on favorable land deals </li><li>Present lot and land purchase opportunities to division President. </li><li>Participate in division and asset committee review and acceptance </li><li>Complete due diligence checklist </li><li>Prepare life of community budget, asset community transmittal and asset committee book </li><li>Obtain HUD and VA approval </li><li>Determine needed changes to lot takedowns </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <p>We're looking for students currently pursuing a degree in Finance or Real Estate.</p> <p>We are an equal employment opportunity employer and a certified Drug Free Workplace.</p> <p>About Smith Douglas Homes:</p> <p>New home builder, Smith Douglas was recently recognized by Builder Magazine as the 32nd largest builder in the Builder Top 100 Rankings.
