<p>Maintenance Tech I</p> <p>ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE</p> <p>BUSINESS: A&D Valves - Industrial Valves Americas</p> <p>LOCATION: Tampa, FL</p> <p>DIRECT REPORTING: Sr. EHS & Facilities Manager</p> <p>POSITION DETAILS</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>General maintenance and repair to maintain machines, mechanical equipment, and the facility. Equipment includes CNC & Manual Mills and Lathes. This role will also participate and coordinate efforts to maintain the facility interior and exterior, work on plumbing, electrical, and air-conditioning and heating systems.</p> <p>Principal Activities</p> <ul> <li>In coordination with operations, perform routine checks, inspections, and maintenance tasks to machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance. </li><li>Troubleshooting basic issues. Identify and resolve simple issues with building systems and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems. </li><li>Perform general maintenance tasks, such as painting, drywall repair, and changing filters, bulbs, and switches. </li><li>Execute work orders and complete projects efficiently and effectively. </li><li>Operate and maintain a variety of tools and equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and test equipment. </li><li>Keep track of maintenance activities, inventory and work orders. </li><li>Building security for fire and access. </li><li>Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, and ensure a safe working environment for self, team members and affected occupants. </li><li>Coordinate with EHS for closure of safety related work orders </li><li>Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and building occupants regarding maintenance needs and issues. </li><li>Participate in all required EHS, HR & Facilities related training. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Principal Activities</p> <ul> <li>Work alongside outside electricians as required </li></ul> <p>CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing principles. </li><li>Ability to identify and diagnose problems effectively. </li></ul> <p>(Troubleshooting skills)</p> <ul> <li>Ability to use hand tools and equipment effectively </li><li>Understanding of mechanical principles and how equipment works. </li><li>Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and maintain records. </li><li>Good Verbal and Written skills to communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues and building occupants, including vendors. </li><li>Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and climbing. </li><li>Independent thinking and decision making. </li><li>Ability to use a computer to access information, log work, maintain records. </li><li>Ability to work during non-standard work hours when the need arises </li><li>OSHA 10-hour General Industry Certification preferred </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>1 to 2 years of experience and responsibility in an industrial maintenance field </li><li>HS Diploma/GED or equivalent </li></ul> <p>US Citizen</p> <p>CIRCOR is an EEO Employer</p>
