<p>Overview</p> <p>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers. </li><li>Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency. </li><li>Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts. </li><li>Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space. </li><li>Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. </li><li>Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. </li><li>Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. </li><li>May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field </li><li>Active Secret Clearance </li><li>U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance </li><li>At least 3+ years of experience with: Kubernetes, Docker/Containers, Python, GO, JavaScript, C++. </li></ul> <p>Pay Transparency Statement</p> <p>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $67,800.00/Yr. - USD $113,200.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
