In this role the incumbent collaborates with the Development team and other stakeholders to plan, execute and manage local and state fundraising initiatives that meet or exceed CHS campaign goals. Overall, the Campaign Director contributes to the CHS high performance culture by exhibiting our values and providing quality results that position CHS as the leader in delivering proactive behavioral health, case management, community and early childhood solutions for children and families.</p> <p>WHY JOIN CHS?</p> <ul> <li>Uplifting mission-driven work culture </li><li>Make an impact in your community and become a part of Florida's history! </li><li>Growth and professional development opportunities </li><li>Great benefits package, including generous paid time off and holidays </li></ul> <p>Primary Job Functions</p> <p>1.Lead and manage a high-impact, statewide fundraising campaign program to deepen donor engagement and financial support, while advancing the CHS mission, financial goals and strategic plan.</p> <p>Campaign Strategy & Leadership (40%)</p> <ul> <li>Develop and execute multi-year fundraising campaign strategies, including capital, comprehensive and special campaigns, to achieve fundraising revenue targets while ensuring that campaigns align with CHS objectives. </li><li>Set campaign goals, benchmarks, timelines and budgets in collaboration with leadership and the Development Team. </li><li>Lead campaign teams, volunteer engagement and board involvement; support team chairs and assist in team building. </li><li>Build a compelling case to support significant Foundation growth, as well as investment in CHS internal infrastructure. </li><li>Work collaboratively with each of the core revenue strategies to enhance and drive additional revenue to CHS and the CHS Foundation. </li><li>Ensure all fundraising efforts comply with legal regulations and ethical standards. </li></ul> <p>Campaign Development & Execution (50%)</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate with various leadership teams to plan and execute campaign events throughout the State. </li><li>Work with regional teams to plan and execute regional fundraising donor meetings. </li><li>Develop partnerships with businesses, foundations, and community organizations to boost donations. </li><li>Partner with Communications to create and execute compelling messaging and promotional materials to inspire donor engagement. </li><li>Coordinate with regional teams to engage local media outlets to maximize visibility for development initiatives. </li><li>Provide oversight and guidance to region-based teams and volunteers involved in the campaign, including regional Campaign Cabinets. </li><li>Train regional fundraising teams to ensure consistent plan implementation. </li><li>Monitor progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders on successes and challenges. </li><li>Identify and facilitate strategic opportunities for donor prospects to interact with senior CHS executives and board members. </li><li>Foster appropriate and ongoing communication and coordination with donors, board members, other external stakeholders, as well as CHS Communications, Development, Finance, Program and External Affairs team members to assure alignment and execution. </li><li>Collaborate with other internal stakeholders to organize meetings, trainings, and donor recognition events where needed. </li><li>Represent CHS at donor, community, and special events, as needed. </li><li>Attain annual fundraising goals as defined. </li></ul> <p>Program Administration & Reporting (10%)</p> <ul> <li>Analyze data to identify trends, successes and areas for improvement. </li><li>Prepare detailed reports for organizational leadership and campaign stakeholders </li><li>Ensure transparency in financial reporting and donor communication. </li><li>Use the CRM to document within 24 hours, staying current with changes while following the Moves Management policy and practices. </li><li>Work closely with the Data Team to track and record planned gifts and donor records in the CRM. </li></ul> <ol start="2"> <li>Contribute to a positive, engaging work environment. </li></ol> <ul> <li>Develop a strong knowledge base and stay current on job-related issues and trends. </li><li>Participate actively in departmental meetings, training and education, as well as the quality process. </li><li>Comply with CHS's code of conduct, policies, procedures and other obligations. </li><li>Assist with training other team members and providing back up when necessary. </li><li>Pick up projects on the fly; perform other duties as assigned from time to time. </li><li>Demonstrate the CHS Common Bond values in the performance of all job duties. </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <p>Education, Licenses & Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, Sales, Philanthropy or related degree from an accredited university, required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. </li><li>Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) certification, preferred </li><li>Florida Driver's License within 30 days from hire, along with daily access to a reliable and insured vehicle, required. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Five or more years of experience in professional fundraising across multiple channels, required. </li><li>Experience developing and managing large-scale fundraising initiatives, campaigns and relationships, required. </li><li>Experience using fundraising software, such as Virtuous, preferred. </li><li>Demonstrated success in cultivating, soliciting and managing $100,000+ fundraising campaigns, required. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <p>Knowledge of:</p> <ul> <li>COMMUNICATIONS | CORPORATE GIVING | DONOR/VOLUNTEER CULTIVATION & MANAGEMENT FUNDRAISING | GENERAL PLANNING & BUDGETING | MARKETING | SPECIAL EVENT PLANNING | STEWARDSHIP </li></ul> <p>Skills and proficiency in:</p> <ul> <li>Planning, project management, organization and time management, oral and written communication </li><li>Interpersonal relationship building, collaboration and teamwork </li><li>CRMs and other computer systems including MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook </li></ul> <p>Ability to:</p> <ul> <li>Perform at a high level of autonomy, with general supervision. </li><li>Perform under strong demands in fast-paced, diverse, sometimes ambiguous environments. </li><li>Collaborate with diverse groups and services. </li><li>Meet critical deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail, accuracy, and quality. </li><li>Build and cultivate diverse relationships and networks, inside and outside the organization. </li><li>Project a professional image in appearance, words, and actions. </li><li>Communicate compellingly and influence others in a positive way. </li><li>Synthesize complex data and create focus on key priorities related to organizational objectives. </li><li>Commit to providing high customer satisfaction with positive service delivery results. </li><li>Demonstrate the behaviors of our CHS Common Bond Values. </li><li>Be energetic, passionate and adaptable with a deep commitment to social service, empathy for children and families and a positive approach to embracing and managing change. </li></ul> <p>Schedule Expectations</p> <p>The incumbent will work a standard scheduled week, which may include weekends, holidays and evenings. The ability to work flexible hours is required to meet business needs. If working remotely, incumbent will be required to be available by telephone and email during specified hours.
