Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.</p> <p>This position is responsible for being the liaison between the branch and its clients. Oversight over the company/client relationship, determining the needs of the company and the client to ensure that short-term and long-term goals are met. Monitoring budgets.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Defines and oversees account management and retention strategy execution for a defined book of accounts.</p> </li><li> <p>Supports pursuit of new business opportunities either directly with a broker/consultant or potential client or through a team approach with field office sales staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides support for field sales staff with RFP (Request for Proposal) responses, proposals, client presentations, and underwriting coordination on new business sales opportunities.</p> </li><li> <p>Manages the annual renewal process for accounts, including underwriting negotiation, preparation of renewal analysis, and client presentations.</p> </li><li> <p>Contract Renewal: Lead and support the renewal strategy development, packaging, presentation, and negotiation activities to retain and grow profitable existing business. Conduct pre-renewal internal strategy meetings to discuss customer issues, problems, needs, opportunities, competitive threats, and alternatives to be proposed.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinates and controls new business implementation activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties assigned by management.</p> </li></ul> <p>Education/Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>3+ years of experience in B2B customer account management.</p> </li><li> <p>Marketing degree or proven skills in Sales</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent relationship management skills</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to grow account revenue thru activities such as product expansion, promotional opportunities, and program implementations</p> </li><li> <p>Experience analyzing sales reports and identifying trends</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to create and implement strategic plans</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent presentation and negotiation skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to organize and prioritize workload throughout multiple accounts and meet deadlines</p> </li><li> <p>Must be driven to identify and exceed customer needs and expectations</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to listen attentively, respond effectively and resolve account issues promptly</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to act as the lead point of contact for matters specific to your accounts, from operational tasks to important initiatives</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team environment</p> </li><li> <p>Detail-oriented and outstanding organizational skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to forecast, monitor, and manage inventory</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to communicate and work effectively across various internal organizations in support of account initiatives</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable learning new technology/product lines in a highly innovative environment</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office software with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint</p> </li></ul> <p>Other Duties:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. </li></ul> <p>Pay Rate Range - 24-30/hr based on experience</p> <p>Anticipated close date 10/23/2025</p> <p>Benefits and Perks:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Excellent pay</p> </li><li> <p>Medical, dental, vision</p> </li><li> <p>Company paid life insurance</p> </li><li> <p>Company paid short-term disability</p> </li><li> <p>401K with employer match</p> </li><li> <p>Paid vacation and company holidays</p> </li><li> <p>Training and Career Development</p> </li><li> <p>Company vehicle (if job applicable)</p> </li></ul> <p>Pye-Barker Fire and Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
