Its schools have received 96 Blue Ribbon awards from the U.S. Department of Education over the past 10 years.</p> <p>Saint Andrew School is seeking a compassionate, mission-driven School Social Worker to join our Student Services team. Rooted in the values of Catholic education, this role supports the social, emotional, and behavioral well-being of students in grades PreK-8 and helps foster a nurturing, faith-filled school community. This opportunity is for the 2026-2027 school year.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide individual and small group counseling to support student well-being </li><li>Support and help implement Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum in PreK-8 classrooms </li><li>Collaborate with teachers, administration, and the Student Services team to support student needs </li><li>Partner with families to provide guidance and connect them with resources </li><li>Assist with student evaluations and the testing process </li><li>Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation </li><li>Support crisis response and promote a positive school climate grounded in Catholic values </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master of Social Work (MSW) or related degree required </li><li>State licensure or eligibility for licensure </li><li>Experience working with children; school setting preferred </li><li>Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills </li><li>Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education </li></ul> <p>The Archdiocese of Chicago offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and benefit programs. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.</p>
