<p>We are looking for graduate students majoring in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field for a 12-week internship role within our Alexion - AstraZeneca Rare Disease division in Wilmington, DE from May 18 2026 to August 7 2026.</p> <p>Position Description:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with data cleaning and data management of various types of data, such as survey, registry and claims/EHR data </li><li>Execute the statistical analysis of assigned projects based on RWE statistical analysis plan </li><li>Build data models and dashboards using data visualization tools </li></ul> <p>Position Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate students majoring in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. </li><li>Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2026. </li><li>Proficiency in R, SQL, or Python is required </li><li>Experience working with large and complex real-world data, such as survey, registry, claims, or electronic health records required </li><li>Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design. </li><li>Understanding of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required. </li><li>US Work Authorization is required at time of application. </li><li>Ability to report onsite to Wilmington, DE 3-5 days per week.
