<p>Job Summary</p> <p>General Atomics (GA), and its affiliated companies, is one of the world's leading resources for high-technology systems development ranging from the nuclear fuel cycle to remotely piloted aircraft, airborne sensors, and advanced electric, electronic, wireless and laser technologies.</p> <p>General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) designs and manufactures first-of-a-kind electromagnetic and electric power generation systems. GA-EMS' expanding portfolio of specialized products and integrated system solutions support critical fleet, space systems and satellites, missile defense, power and energy, and process and monitoring applications for defense, industrial, and commercial customers worldwide.</p> <p>We are currently hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer (EE) who will be a key member within the GA-EMS Radar Technologies group in the Boston area. In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for PCB and module designs in support of new air and ground-based radar products. The Senior Electrical Engineer will report to the Manager of Hardware Engineering within the Radar Technologies group.</p> <p>DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Design, layout, and route digital, analog, and RF PCBs including component creation, circuit design, schematic capture, constraint setup, PCB stack up design, and design rule checking (DRC) </li><li>Model high-speed digital, analog, and RF paths including signal & power integrity analyses </li><li>Perform timing analyses on all speed-critical circuits such as signal and clock distributions </li><li>Lead design trade studies to ensure the best components, technologies, and innovations are used to meet performance, reliability, cost, and scalability requirements </li><li>Collaborate with the Hardware, Software, and Systems engineering teams to drive development of PCBs, subsystems and assemblies </li><li>Adhere to design for manufacturing (DFM) principles and work closely with the production team to improve both manufacturability and producibility </li><li>Perform bench-level board measurements and data collections </li><li>Represent the company at technical reviews, meetings and formal design reviews </li><li>Stay current with PCB industry innovations, developments and trends </li></ul> <p>We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.</p>
