If you are looking for a rewarding and challenging career in security, consider applying for a Security Supervisor position with Berman Security Agency, LLC.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Supervision & Leadership:</p> <ul> <li>Supervises daily security team operations, ensuring efficient task completion. </li><li>Devise and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard the organization and its assets. </li><li>Perform routine security assessments to identify and address potential risks and vulnerabilities, crafting strategies for risk reduction. </li><li>Monitor surveillance and alarm systems, swiftly responding to security breaches or incidents. </li><li>Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and relevant stakeholders during security emergencies. </li><li>Educate and train security personnel on protocols and emergency response plans. </li><li>Regularly inspect security equipment to ensure proper functioning and upkeep. </li><li>Collaborate across departments to integrate security measures into all operational facets, including events, facility management, and employee safety. </li><li>Stay abreast of evolving security trends, technologies, and regulations, providing recommendations for system and procedural enhancements. </li></ul> <p>Supervision & Leadership:</p> <p>Incident & Client Management:</p> <ul> <li>Meet with property managers regarding security incidents, concerns, and operational updates. </li><li>Investigate & respond security incidents, accidents, and breaches, preparing comprehensive reports with improvement recommendations. </li><li>Conduct investigations into security breaches or violations. </li><li>Assist in handling coaching, disciplinary actions, including counseling and corrective measures for security personnel. </li></ul> <p>Administrative Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Review and verify security reports for accuracy and completeness. </li><li>Check emails and respond to client inquiries or internal communications. </li><li>Complete shift reports and log all significant activities. </li><li>Ensure all security equipment and systems are functioning properly. </li><li>Attend meetings with management, clients, and police to discuss security-related issues when applicable. </li></ul> <p>Patrol & Compliance:</p> <ul> <li>Perform periodic patrols of client properties to ensure compliance with security protocols. </li><li>Identify potential security risks and recommend preventive measures. </li><li>Ensure security officers are adhering to company policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of two years of security and supervisory experience; prior experience in the hospitality industry is preferred. </li><li>For driving positions: A valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience and a clean driving record. </li><li>Active valid State of Florida D License. </li><li>Current CPR/First Aid/AED Certification is preferred. </li><li>Strong communication skills, good judgment, and the ability to maintain professionalism in all situations. </li><li>Physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. </li><li>Flexibility to work any shift as required. </li><li>Compliance with state/local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including cold, rain, or heat. </li><li>Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds. </li><li>Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as necessary during shifts. </li><li>Stand or walk on various surfaces for prolonged periods. </li></ul> <p>Please note, Berman reserves the right to adjust employees' work designations and assignments, including shifts and locations, as required by operational needs.</p>
