<p>Description</p> <p>$5,000 Lump Sum Sign On Bonus paid within 30 days of start!</p> <p>Watertown Regional Medical Center is seeking a Lead Pharmacy Technician</p> <p>Full Time - 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE) / Monday thru Friday with a weekend rotation</p> <p>The Lead Pharmacy Technician / Inventory Specialist ensures availability of medications for the care of patients throughout the organization, oversees all medication related purchasing and inventory control related functions, provides supervision for the day-to-day distributive services of the pharmacy through effective productivity under the direct supervision of pharmacist(s), the Lead Pharmacist/ Clinical Coordinator and the Director of Pharmacy. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: the oversight of medication acquisition, storage, security, preparation, and distribution. Responsible for fostering an environment where pharmacy services are provided in an accurate, appropriate, and timely manner. Demonstrates a high level of competence, professionalism, and customer service. Successful completion of an ASHP-accredited</p> </li><li> <p>Pharmacy Technician Program, preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>PTCB certification, required -must be obtained within six months in this position.</p> </li><li> <p>Two years of experience as a hospital pharmacy technician, required.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic reading and math skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Clerical and record keeping skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Distribution, receiving and stocking procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Effective communication and interpersonal skills and behaviors.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow procedures related to position accountabilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Inventorying and ordering procedure knowledge.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of safety control hospital procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Learns and applies analytical and participative problem solving techniques.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic Medical terminology understanding.</p> </li><li> <p>Order entry skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Software skills - word processing and spreadsheet skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to maintain effective working relationship with department staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Leadership and Quality Improvement skills</p> </li><li> <p>Supervisory skills</p> </li><li> <p>Negotiation skills</p> </li><li> <p>Analytical and participative problem solving techniques</p> </li></ul>
