<p>Revised Job Posting</p> <p>Classification Title: Registrar</p> <p>Salary: $105,835.00 Annually</p> <p>Department: Registrar and Records</p> <p>Pay Grade: ADM9</p> <p>Reports To: Dean, Enrollment Management</p> <p>FLSA Status: Exempt</p> <p>Unit: Administrative</p> <p>Opening Date: 3/23/2026</p> <p>Closing Date: 3/30/2026 11:59 p.m.</p> <p>GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB</p> <p>Performs executive, advanced level work overseeing student service functions, including registration, enrollment verifications, transcript releases, grading, degree audit, graduation clearances, classroom/final exam scheduling, awarding of advanced standing credit and records management functions.</p> <p>SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Manages staff of professional and support personnel, and oversees training, motivation, and performance appraisal. </li><li>Develops budget and manages and approves expenditures in order to meet objectives. </li><li>Recommends and develops policies and procedures related to enrollment, academic standards, and student records, including issues relating to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974, Revised. </li><li>Responds to OPRA and Subpoena requests for student information ensuring compliance with FERPA and College policies. </li><li>Manages set-up and maintenance of database and Self-Service functions related to Registration and Records Management. </li><li>Updates and maintains degree and certificate program information in database and responsible for programming of degree evaluation/student planning, as well as implementation of enhanced Self-Service functionality. </li><li>Oversees the scheduling functions of undergraduate academic classes and final examinations including time, meeting place, and faculty assignment, in coordination with department chairpersons. </li><li>Supervises and coordinates activities related to awarding of advanced standing credit, major/grade changes and graduation clearances. </li><li>Co-Chairs the Commencement Planning Committee and coordinates with Marketing the production of content/timelines for Commencement Program, diplomas and related Ceremony website and student communications. </li><li>Coordinates the development of the academic calendar and other calendars associated with deadlines in registration activities. </li><li>Responsible for the production of the College's e-Catalog. </li><li>Fulfills requests by academic divisions and administration for data and ad-hoc reports. </li><li>Collaborates with IT in the implementation, support and maintenance of technology to support services. </li><li>Acts as chairperson of the College's Tuition Appeals Committee. </li><li>Represents Registration Office on college-wide committees and completes relevant committee assignments. </li><li>Develops marketing content for website and promotional literature for public consumption related to registration/records. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree </li><li>Five (5) years' higher education experience </li><li>Three (3) years' administrative experience </li><li>Three (3) years' supervisory experience </li><li>One (1) year of Registration experience </li><li>Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office </li><li>Significant experience with a comprehensive student information system and administrative computing databases </li><li>Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Registrar experience </li><li>Enrollment Services experience </li><li>Ellucian Colleague SaaS experience </li><li>Query and report writing software experience </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>The work is sedentary work which requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required:</p> <ul> <li>Fingering: Picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling. </li><li>Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm. </li><li>Hearing 1: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
