<p>Davis Joint Unified School District</p> <p>See attachment on original job posting</p> <p>Maintenance Specialist III-Aquatics: Requires a thorough knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, techniques, materials, tools, equipment, layouts and set-ups used in swimming pool maintenance and operation. Requires a thorough knowledge of standard swimming pool safety precautions and procedures. Requires a thorough knowledge of methods and tools used to maintain pumps, motors, skimmers, filters, and related mechanical equipment. Must be thoroughly familiar with basic record-keeping techniques. Must maintain knowledge of current code requirements related to pool operation. High School diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a formal training program in the maintenance of swimming pools. Requires a minimum of 3 years of journey level experience in a skilled and/or licensed trade. Vocational education or college may substitute for some experience. Experience must include not less than two years in a commercial setting. Maintenance Specialist III-General: Requires a thorough knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, techniques, materials, tools, equipment, layouts and set-ups used in building trades. Requires a thorough knowledge of the uses and purposes of general maintenance, hand and power tools and equipment. Must be thoroughly familiar with general safety standards. Must maintain general knowledge of current code requirements. High School diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a formal training program in a skilled trade desired. Requires minimum of five (5) years of journey level experience in skilled and/or licensed trade or demonstrated experience.
