<p>Treasury Operations Leader</p> <p>Overview:</p> <p>The Treasury Operations Leader will report to Talcott's Treasurer and will work within the Treasury team to accurately manage the cash-related financial assets and risks specific to Talcott Resolution's domestic and global legal entities.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee leadership of corporate cash operations </li><li>Support the core liquidity strategy to maximize investment opportunity and portfolio management </li><li>Assists the corporate treasurer in the direction and management of treasury activities </li><li>Oversee treasury operations activities and guarantee financial transactions, policies and procedures that fulfill the organization's goals and requirements, as well as regulatory body requirements </li><li>Proactively manages Treasury Operations staff and coaches Talcott employees based on Treasury functions </li><li>Provide project management support related to treasury operations, system upgrades, or process improvements. </li><li>Proactively support the ongoing development of the treasury operations staff </li><li>Communicate complex financial concepts and strategies to senior management </li><li>Support bank relationship management for both operating and investment bank accounts/portfolios </li><li>Access bank portals for cash monitoring and cash transfer initiations. </li><li>Support treasury systems compliance for security entitlements and maintenance </li><li>Support compliance with all necessary risk controls and accounting measures to run a rigorous, sophisticated and protected treasury operations environment </li><li>Constantly challenge legacy processes and be empowered to innovate continuous improvements in underlying processes and controls </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience </li><li>Requires 5+ years of managerial experience </li><li>Requires 10+ years of Treasury related experience </li><li>CTP designation required </li><li>Insurance industry and investment management knowledge </li><li>Expertise in financial software, spreadsheets (like Excel), and specialized treasury management systems. </li><li>Prior FIS experience will be helpful </li><li>Prior knowledge of life insurance sector will be helpful </li><li>Prior experience of people leadership in treasury operations is helpful </li><li>Ethical standards and behavior </li><li>Stress management - ability to perform well under pressure </li><li>Prior experience with automation of treasury processes </li><li>Solid proficiency with MS Office and other financial analysis tools </li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Demonstrated ability to convey complex financial information to leadership </li><li>Readily able to manage shifting priorities and tight deadlines </li><li>Flexible, positive mindset with a strong attention to detail </li><li>Ability to make informed decisions based on financial data </li></ul>
