Evaluates all data to determine appropriateness and medical necessity of the test ordered.</p> <p>Selects, assembles and checks the equipment necessary to perform the diagnostic test</p> <p>Initiates, conducts and modifies the prescribed diagnostic procedure</p> <p>Maintains patient records and communicates relevant information to members of the health care team</p> <p>Continue with self-development and assists Director with orientation and continuing education of trainees, medical staff, and other hospital employees.</p> <p>Promotes age appropriate care to all patients</p> <p>Job Requirements</p> <p>Minimum EducationAssociates degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Bachelor of Science Required</p> <p>Graduate of a Program in Discipline Required</p> <p>Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
