<p>Description</p> <p>Full time starting at $61.49+/hr based on experience.</p> <p>Hours are flexible with options of either:</p> <p>1) four 10-hour weekday Tuesday-Friday, no weekends (may pick up weekends if desired)</p> <p>2) five 8-hour weekday M-F shifts, no weekends (may pick up weekends if desired)</p> <p>3) 7-on, 7-off (Wednesday-Tuesday) for 64 hours per pay period with opportunities to pick up additional shifts</p> <p>4) 8-on, 6-off (Wednesday-Wednesday) for 74 hours per pay period with opportunities to pick up additional shifts.</p> <p>On required holiday rotation (expect to work 1-2 holidays per year). You are paid 8-hours of your base hourly pay for 6 holidays (New Year's, Memorial, July 4th, Labor, Thanksgiving, Christmas) regardless of working or off. If you are working the holiday, you are paid 1.5x base pay for the hours worked in addition to another 8-hours of your base hourly pay.</p> <p>Normal business hours, no overnights. Pharmacy opening hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-6:00pm. Saturday-Sunday 9:00am-3:00pm.</p> <p>Weekend shifts get additional $3/hour. Holiday shifts are 1.5x base pay.</p> <p>A Pharmacist is 'on-call' after pharmacy opening hours. Expect 1-2 on-call day(s) per week (You may pick up more on-calls if desired). You are paid $4/hour for being on-call. If you are contacted for any questions, you are paid in 2-hour increments of your hourly base pay.</p> <p>ScionHealth offers a clinical pharmacist advancement ladder program. Our clinicians play a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients.</p> <p>As Pharmacist you will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy and according to standard procedure compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies up receiving written prescriptions from the physician.</p> </li><li> <p>Participates on Performance Improvement plans within the hospital.</p> </li><li> <p>Consults with and advises Administration, Medical Staff and hospital staff on quality, regulatory and risk issues within the organization.</p> </li><li> <p>Supports and serves as consultant to all clinical and Medical Staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists the Director in coordinating and implementing the activities of the Pharmacy.</p> </li><li> <p>Interprets medication orders, compounds and dispenses medication and other pharmaceutical preparations in accordance with the legal, ethical and professional standards of pharmacy practice.</p> </li><li> <p>Supervises the technical support staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with clinical, quality management and education programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides support for all departments with respect to the care of all patients aged 18 through the geriatric population ages 65 and older.</p> </li><li> <p>Clinical duties include renal dosing, drug regimen review, antibiotic & anticoagulant monitoring.</p> </li></ul> <p>Pharmacist, Pharm D, hospital pharmacy, LTAC, Transitional Care, Acute Care</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with Pharmacist degree. </li><li>Current state license in good standing </li><li>Minimum of three (3) months of experience in HOSPITAL pharmacy. </li><li>Pharm D or residency preferred. </li><li>Working knowledge of OSHA, JCAHO, HCFA and state guidelines. </li><li>Experience in facilitating teams. </li><li>Experience in writing policies and procedures. </li></ul>
