<p>The Engineering Compliance Manager will have primary responsibilities with conformity assessment procedures and material compliance to ensure global product compliance for PSG products in many diverse regions and manufacturing environments. This position will work directly with Purchasing, Product Management and Quality as well as working closely with Product Engineering on new product certification, regulatory compliance, and approval-related issues.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Continuously maintain & monitor regulatory requirements at domestic & international levels. </li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies such as UL </li><li>Assess possible changes to regulations and recommendations to mitigate and eliminate risks to the business. </li><li>Maintain the PDM vault and control access. </li><li>Maintain and Audit HTS Codes and ECCN Codes </li><li>Gate keeper for various regulatory and agency websites </li><li>Ensures compliance of the New Product Development Process to company standards. </li><li>Support global PSG manufacturing sites to maintain continuity of compliance. </li></ul> <p>Developing and Implementing Compliance Programs</p> <ul> <li>Creating and updating policies and procedures to ensure products adhere to regulations and standards. </li><li>Managing portions of the business management system to maintain compliance with ISO standards </li><li>Supporting new product development through pre-launch compliance reviews to ensure new products adhere to existing and forthcoming standards. </li><li>Representing the company during regulatory audits </li><li>Collaborating with product development, legal, quality assurance, and other teams </li></ul> <p>Documentation and Record Keeping</p> <ul> <li>Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of compliance documentation and approvals </li><li>Developing and maintaining technical documentation like Risk Assessments, Declarations of Conformity, etc. </li><li>Monitoring and reporting on the implementation progress of new regulations </li><li>Maintenance of UL and other files </li><li>Maintain a standards library and ensure the latest versions of standards are on file. </li><li>Coordinate projects with regulatory consultants and internal resources. </li></ul> <p>Risk Assessments, Audits, and Advising Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Identifying potential compliance risks, conducting regular audits, and implementing corrective actions </li><li>Providing guidance and recommendations to management on compliance-related matters </li><li>Assessing the impact of new regulations on existing products and operations </li><li>Identify market drivers and customer buying behaviors. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <ul> <li>Relevant bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. </li><li>In-depth experience with certifications and conformity assessment of products (CE, UKCA, USP, UL, REACH, RoHS, DBAM, and others </li><li>Experience reading and understanding ISO standards; specific experience with ISO 9001:2015 is a plus. </li><li>Proven knowledge of the legal and normative requirements for technical documentation of industrial products </li><li>Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment </li><li>Be well versed in the fields of international product directives, CE marking, product labeling, conformity assessment procedures, and material compliance. </li><li>Experience with rotating machinery is preferred. </li><li>Preference is for candidates to have experience with bulk liquid storage, fluid transport, or fluid distribution/retail, within chemical, process, power, industrial, oil & gas, or industrial gas industries. </li></ul> <p>The Ideal Candidate Will Also Bring</p> <ul> <li>Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills </li><li>Actively listens to others and is open to ideas across all functions. </li><li>Instills a climate of teamwork and positive relationships across all functions. </li><li>Brings energy to address business and market challenges, obstacles, or setbacks. </li><li>Develop and maintains positive working relationships within the team and across functions to create effective solutions. </li></ul> <p>#LI-GP1</p> <p>PSG is the global pump, metering and dispensing-solution expert, enabling the safe and efficient transfer of critical and valuable fluids that require optimal performance and reliability in applications where it matters most.
