Significant investment in infrastructure and automation ensures AEC is positioned to maximize that value, offering the right processes to meet our customer's needs.</p> <p>The Continuous Improvement (CI) Specialist is responsible for driving process improvements across multiple departments, with a strong emphasis on managing administrative tasks and documentation, coordinating projects, and communicating progress and results. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively lead CI initiatives while ensuring the timely creation and update of Kaizen report outs, Kaizen newspapers, Metric updates, and SQDCT boards.</p> <p>In addition, the CI Specialist will be responsible for data collection and analysis to support process improvements and cost-saving efforts. They will facilitate meetings, deliver training sessions, and collaborate with teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement. As a liaison between CI teams, management, and stakeholders, the CI Specialist must exhibit exceptional organizational and communication skills, while maintaining a customer service mindset to ensure all CI efforts align with customer satisfaction and operational excellence.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Administrative Oversight: </li><li>Coordinate, document, and manage the workflow for all CI projects to ensure timely and accurate delivery of results. </li><li>Maintain comprehensive records of CI initiatives, including project charters, timelines, KPIs, Kaizen report outs, Kaizen newspapers, Metric updates, and SQDCT boards, ensuring they are regularly updated and accessible to relevant stakeholders. </li><li>Prepare and present project summaries, status updates, and final reports, tailoring the communication style to meet the needs of diverse audiences. </li><li>Project Coordination & Facilitation: </li><li>Schedule and organize meetings, Kaizen events, workshops, and training sessions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize participation and engagement. </li><li>Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops, ensuring active involvement and knowledge transfer to the team. </li><li>Monitor project milestones and deadlines, proactively identifying and addressing any delays or resource needs. </li><li>Support data collection, analysis, and visualization efforts to measure the effectiveness of CI initiatives and present findings in a clear, actionable format. </li><li>Foster a customer service-focused approach to project coordination, ensuring internal and external stakeholders are supported and engaged throughout the improvement process. </li><li>Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: </li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for CI initiatives, ensuring alignment between department heads, team leads, and CI management. </li><li>Develop and implement communication strategies that enhance understanding and support for CI projects across the organization, promoting a customer service mindset throughout. </li><li>Use various communication tools and channels (presentations, reports, dashboards) to clearly convey CI goals, methodologies, and achievements. </li><li>Ensure that project results and process improvements align with customer satisfaction goals and operational excellence. </li><li>Continuous Improvement Advocacy: </li><li>Promote a culture of continuous improvement by providing administrative support for training programs, maintaining CI materials, and ensuring accessibility of resources. </li><li>Assist in identifying and implementing best practices, including Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies, and support teams in achieving sustainable improvements. </li><li>Deliver training sessions on CI methodologies, facilitating learning and engagement across all levels of the organization. </li><li>Ensure CI initiatives are designed with a focus on customer service and operational efficiency, driving improvements that benefit both the organization and its customers. </li></ul>
