<p>Job Details</p> <p>Job Family</p> <p>FAC - Part-Time Faculty, Credit Classes</p> <p>Grade</p> <p>P1</p> <p>Salary</p> <p>$59.57 - Base Rate</p> <p>Department</p> <p>Radiation Therapy (Health Sciences)</p> <p>Reports To</p> <p>Department Chairperson</p> <p>Closing Date</p> <p>Posted on an ongoing basis</p> <p>FLSA Status</p> <p>Exempt - Not Eligible for Overtime Compensation</p> <p>First Review Date</p> <p>June 19, 2025</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>The Adjunct Faculty member provides instruction primarily in Radiation Therapy courses and other related areas given appropiate credentials.</p> <p>Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.</p> <p>What you will be doing</p> <ul> <li>Teaches in lecture and laboratory settings </li><li>Plan and organizes instructional materials to meet course objectives </li><li>Evaluates and advises students </li><li>Develops curricula </li><li>Recruits students </li><li>Participates in departmental and College affairs </li><li>Serves on committees </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>What you need to succeed</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in any field; Bachelor's degree in any field and Associate's degree in Radiation Therapy; Valid registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); and 3 years of full-time work and/or instructional experience in field. </li><li>All educational degrees must be from regionally accredited institutions </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) </li><li>Must be able to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community </li><li>Ability to work flexible schedule which may include morning, evening and weekend assignments </li><li>Must be able to travel between campuses, clinical sites and off-campus offering sites </li></ul> <p>Preferences</p> <ul> <li>For best consideration upload your unofficial transcripts along with cover letter and resume.
