<p>Apply</p> <p>Description</p> <p>The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a performance-driven on-premise sales professional focused on engaging customers and consumers to drive brand visibility and sales for Diageo's portfolio, with a focus on whiskey, agave, and other leading brands.</p> <p>This role requires expertise in influencer marketing, digital engagement, and strategic partnerships to enhance brand equity, awareness, and consumer adoption. By leveraging supplier and internal assets, the BDM will shape cross-brand partnerships and develop innovative strategies to ensure Diageo's brands remain relevant and deeply connected with consumers. With a pulse on cultural trends and a passion for inclusive nightlife, the BDM champions multilingual, multicultural activations that reflect the rich diversity of the community. With a pulse on cultural trends and a passion for inclusive nightlife, the BDM champions multilingual, multicultural activations that reflect the rich diversity of the community.</p> <p>Key Accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Build and maintain strong relationships with on-premise accounts to drive visibility and performance for Diageo's portfolio. </li><li>Lead bespoke nightlife activations that celebrate and reflect the richness of local multicultural communities, incorporating multilingual elements where appropriate, and collaborating with culturally aligned influencers and community leaders to ensure events are inclusive, respectful, and resonate with a broad audience. </li><li>Execute strategic brand initiatives including menu placements, staff trainings, and event-based programming tailored to diverse audiences. </li><li>Manage influencer collaborations, event execution, and budgets to maximize ROI and brand impact. </li><li>Analyze sales trends to identify opportunities for growth across diverse consumer segments. </li><li>Maintain an active and engaging digital presence to support brand storytelling and nightlife engagement. </li><li>Act as a strategic consultant within assigned accounts, collaborating closely with sales teams to grow market share and share of mind. </li><li>Support Martignetti's digital footprint by leveraging a professional Instagram presence. </li><li>Help foster authentic brand connections within on-premise environments-especially during nights and weekends, when community engagement is at its peak. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Deep understanding of multicultural and multilingual consumer behavior in the nightlife and on-premise space. </li><li>Bilingual or multilingual capabilities preferred. </li><li>Elevated understanding of social media platforms and influencer marketing. </li><li>Proven experience in event planning and execution for trade and consumer audiences. </li><li>Ability to analyze sales data and make data-driven decisions. </li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey brand messaging across multiple platforms. </li><li>Experience working with distributor sales teams to enhance brand presence and meet sales targets. </li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage budgets and demonstrate ROI for marketing activities. </li><li>Knowledge of industry trends, customer needs, and brand reception. </li><li>Media training or experience in handling brand communications is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Education/Training/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>4+ years in beverage/alcohol sales, marketing, or brand roles. </li><li>Strong experience in digital media, events, and influencer partnerships. </li><li>Excellent communication, organization, and data analysis skills. </li><li>Valid MA driver's license required. </li><li>Experience managing promotional budgets and social media content preferred. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands and Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work flexible hours and travel frequently to visit key accounts, attend industry events, and meet with influencers. </li><li>Must be able to lift promotional materials and event setups weighing up to 40 pounds. </li><li>Work may involve extended periods of standing during activations and events. </li><li>Role involves working in many environments, from office settings to bars, restaurants, and event spaces. </li><li>Work requires travel and exposure to weather conditions. </li><li>Potential for accidents due to travel including traffic accidents, delivery of goods, or the set up of displays. </li></ul> <p>Martignetti Companies prides itself on being a company where you can bring your best self to work every day.
