Your role will involve exceptional support and the ability to anticipate the needs of clinicians and patients.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Monitor, document, and communicate patients' vital statistics and measurements. </li><li>Observe and note any physical or emotional changes in patients. </li><li>Prepare examination rooms for patient visits. </li><li>Select, prepare, and manage medical supplies and equipment. </li><li>Ensure the patient environment is comfortable, organized, safe, and hygienic. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of patient information. </li><li>Prepare patients for follow-up care post-treatment. </li><li>Potentially guide and educate other LPNs. </li><li>Serve as a knowledgeable resource on nursing-related issues. </li><li>Organize and manage scheduling for patients and necessary medical tests. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, multi-specialty medical settings. </li><li>LPN License in the state of NY. </li><li>Attendance and reliability. </li><li>Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR). </li><li>1-2 years of medical office experience. </li><li>Experience with patient demographics and patient information management. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of LPN experience is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, at the Internal Medicine department located in Poughkeepsie, 243 N. Road.
