<p>The Pittsburg State University School/Department of Nursing is accepting applications for an Assistant Instructional Professor of Nursing to teach and supervise pre-licensure nursing students in face-to-face theory and clinical courses. This position participates in planning and organizing courses and student experiences, teaching, and working with other faculty to coordinate curriculum content.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Participates with other faculty members in course development, curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation. </li><li>Coordinates and supervises teaching and learning experiences for students. </li><li>Maintains clinical expertise in specialty areas through continuing education activities and utilization of appropriate clinical resources. </li><li>Serves on university and departmental committees. </li><li>Provides leadership in interdisciplinary activities, i.e., voluntary health agencies, and other community agencies. </li><li>Participates in professional programs and organizations by accepting responsibility on local and/or state level. Evaluates attainment of professional goals.
