<p>Position Overview</p> <p>Full Speed Automotive is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager, focused on upgrading and revitalizing our oil change centers. This individual will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of facility management follow established protocols, assist with vendor management, budget tracking, and deadline enforcement. In addition, this position will oversee the implementation of the Point of Sale (POS) system in our locations through the selected vendor. The ideal candidate has strong project management expertise in construction, facilities, and as well as a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in oil change, automotive service, or multi-unit retail environments.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Project Execution & Deadline Adherence</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement a detailed project roadmap with key deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation. </li><li>Manage multiple renovation projects across multiple locations while minimizing disruptions to daily operations. </li><li>Utilize project management software (MS Project, Monday, Smartsheet, Procore, or similar) to track milestones, risks, and delays, ensuring all projects meet set deadlines. </li><li>Proactively identify potential roadblocks and implement solutions to prevent costly delays. </li><li>Ensure all permitting, compliance, and regulatory approvals are secured on time to avoid project slowdowns. </li></ul> <p>Budget Management & Cost Control</p> <ul> <li>Take full ownership of the $4 million budget, ensuring accurate forecasting, allocation, and spend tracking. </li><li>Establish rigorous budget controls and cost-tracking processes to prevent overruns and inefficiencies. </li><li>Regularly report financial status, burn rates, and cost projections to senior leadership. </li><li>Negotiate contracts with vendors and contractors to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining high quality. </li><li>Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising the project's objectives or quality standards. </li></ul> <p>Facilities & Construction Oversight</p> <ul> <li>Conduct site assessments to define project scope and prioritize high-impact improvements. </li><li>Under the direction of the VP, Facilities, this position will work with vendor partners to ensure all phases of construction, remodeling, and facility upgrades are met and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. </li><li>Ensure compliance with OSHA safety guidelines, building codes, and environmental regulations. </li><li>Manage contractor performance, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and deadlines. </li><li>Optimize operational efficiency by integrating energy-efficient and durable facility solutions. </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder Communication & Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for all Refresh & Revive projects, ensuring transparency with internal stakeholders. </li><li>Deliver weekly progress reports, financial updates, and risk assessments to senior leadership for both projects of Revive/Refresh. </li><li>Work closely with Operations and Center Managers to ensure facility upgrades align with customer experience and business objectives. </li><li>Organize and lead cross-functional meetings to keep all teams aligned on project goals. </li></ul> <p>Vendor & Contractor Management</p> <ul> <li>Source, negotiate, and manage vendor and contractor relationships to meet budget and timeline expectations. </li><li>Monitor contractor performance, enforcing accountability for delays, quality issues, or scope deviations. </li><li>Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment to prevent bottlenecks in execution. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in project management, Construction Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). </li><li>7+ years of experience in project management, facilities maintenance, or construction, preferably in a multi-unit retail, automotive, or oil change environment. </li><li>Proven track record of successfully managing multi-million dollar budgets with strict financial discipline. </li><li>Expertise in project management software (MS Project, Monday, Smartsheet, Procore, or similar). </li><li>Strong ability to manage deadlines, mitigate risks, and drive project completion. </li><li>Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general building maintenance, and zoning regulations. </li><li>Experience in vendor and contractor negotiations, bid processes, and contract management. </li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Ability to travel to multiple locations to oversee project execution. </li><li>Strong influencing skills </li><li>Strong team-building skills and working with cross-functional teams </li><li>Ability to travel 25% of the time to assist with significant issues with both projects (travel to Centers locations and Denver, CO (corporate office) </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent. </li><li>Experience with CAPEX budgeting and financial reporting for multi-site projects. </li><li>Knowledge of LEAN or Six Sigma principles for process efficiency in construction. </li><li>Background in the oil change or automotive service industry </li></ul> <p>Salary: $100,000-110,000</p>
