<p>Description</p> <p>Team Leader - Diagnostic Radiology - FT 3:30pm-12am, M-F, rotating weekends. Holiday rotation</p> <p>Rare opportunity to join a dynamic team of radiology professionals at the Danbury Hospital! -- provide oversight wihtin an extremely busy ED and IP patients. MUST have at least 6 months of Lead experience, have some OR experience, X-Ray and CT Scan experience and provide assistance in these areas.</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>The Team Leader assists in the daily department operation for a specified area such as Outpatient Radiology. Assumes responsibility of the area in the absence of the supervisor. Performs the functions of a Radiology Technologist.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Assists the supervisor in the daily operation of the Radiology Department for a specified area.</p> </li><li> <p>Administers to the department and patient needs in the absence of the supervisor. Provides mentoring and guidance to staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs the functions of a Radiology Technologist.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides training and cross training of staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares schedules, orders supplies and implements changes.</p> </li><li> <p>Participates in the department's performance improvement program and initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures a safe environment for all staff and patients.</p> </li><li> <p>May provide clinical instruction to prospective radiographers to instill the duties of a radiologic technologist in a health care facility while maintaining excellent patient care.</p> </li><li> <p>May evaluate a students' ability to perform procedures, and assures student attains objectives of each competency. May perform periodic written evaluation of students.</p> </li><li> <p>Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ol> <p>Education: HS GRAD/EQUIVALENT</p> <p>Other Information:</p> <p>Required: State of CT Radiographer license.
