This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to specialize and grow in their careers.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Operate the CT scanner safely and proficiently. </li><li>Obtain high-quality imaging and ensure proper positioning. </li><li>Coordinate patient preparation and scanning to ensure smooth workflow. </li><li>Demonstrate expertise in contrast media injections and reactions, and start IV lines for administering contrast fluids. </li><li>Transport patients to and from the department. </li><li>Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Technical or Associate's degree in radiography. </li><li>Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). </li><li>Maintain registry status while employed. </li><li>Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer, prior to direct patient care. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in radiology, radiologic technology, and imaging. </li><li>Knowledge of X-ray and CT procedures. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This full-time position is for the night shift in Tulsa, OK, working Sunday to Tuesday from 7:00pm to 7:00am, with alternating Wednesdays. Our facility is a 656-bed hospital that includes specialized centers such as The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, state-of-the-art cancer treatment technology, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
