<p>Electronics Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in electrical and control systems, including those for power generation and distribution systems and equipment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Engineers and Production team members to develop and maintain production documents and processes. This role requires collaboration with both engineering and production support teams, as well as engineering team members from our customers to implement new designs and design changes.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Analyze customer designs for manufacturability. </li><li>Work with sales, engineering, and production to develop harness and electrical panel designs to customer specifications. </li><li>Provide documentation support to customer specifications by generating manufacturing procedures and reviewing supplemental drawings, BOMs, and wire charts. </li><li>Manage projects, including planning and coordinating with sales and production to develop new products and help establish resources required for production startup. </li><li>Analyze current processes and implement process improvements. </li><li>Research components and specify items required for customer needs. </li><li>Support sales and production for existing product. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Excellent organization and customer service skills. </li><li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. </li><li>Ability to communicate technical data clearly, both in writing and verbally. </li><li>Project management skills and ability to drive project deliverables. </li><li>Ability to coordinate project tasks and members of a small team. </li><li>Attention to detail. </li><li>Core knowledge of electrical system design practices, including layout, component/connector selection, wire/cable routing, and electrical harness manufacturing techniques. </li><li>Ability to read and work with complex wiring diagrams and schematics. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook). </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Creo/ProEngineer, etc. </li><li>Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards for soldering, splicing, terminating, and troubleshooting of electrical systems. </li><li>2+ years of experience in electrical harness design/development. </li><li>Experience in electrical system design. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Our company is a contract manufacturer with over 200 employees and more than 75 years of experience producing high-quality electrical cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, control panels, and electromechanical assemblies.
