As part of your main duties and responsibilities you will be expected to:</p> <ul> <li>Produce a quality product by following established procedures. </li><li>Correctly sample process batches in line with protocols. </li><li>Perform quality inspections to ensure quality is in line with expected standards. </li><li>Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system and if required, escalate to the attention of the Production Manager. </li><li>Work in line with and meet the scheduled production requirements. </li><li>Conduct inventory checks periodically as required. </li><li>Assist Production Manager in reviewing process orders, determining raw material needs and planning accordingly. </li><li>Assist in the training of new employees within the department. </li><li>Maintain a safe and clean workplace. </li><li>Perform other related duties at the request of the Plant Manager </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Previous Experience</p> <p>High school diploma or GED equivalent.</p> <p>Key Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Communication Skills- strong verbal and written communication skills - must provide regular, consistent, and meaningful information- adapting as required to various recipients.
