This full-time position includes teaching responsibilities in both content areas, supporting students in developing a well-rounded understanding of the natural world and human society.</p> <p>The teacher will create a dynamic learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and meaningful connections across disciplines. Through hands-on investigations, discussion-based learning, and project-based experiences, the teacher will guide students in developing scientific reasoning, data analysis skills, and an understanding of core scientific concepts. In social studies, the teacher will support students in analyzing historical events, examining diverse cultures, and developing informed perspectives on civic responsibility and global issues.</p> <p>By integrating literacy, collaboration, and real-world application into both content areas, the teacher will help students build the skills necessary to think critically, communicate effectively, and become active, informed citizens.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>CERTIFICATES/LICENSES:</p> <ul> <li>Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Teaching Certification in Middle School Science and/or Social Studies required.
