Must be available to work additional hours as needed.</p> <p>Who May Apply?</p> <p>All persons legally authorized to work in the United States</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>The Utilities Foreman is responsible for monitoring work priorities using a computerized maintenance management system to analyze work order, backlog, resource availability, asset criticality, maintenance schedules, safety plans and job plans for different types of equipment work. Also responsible for ensuring all field work is in accordance with City standards, AWWA standards, and within TDEQ regulations for all field crew construction crew work.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead teams (full time and/or temporary employees) in Wastewater Treatment for emergency and planned work in accordance with City standards. </li><li>Lead teams of Utility Technicians in advanced and specialized activities for the installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of wastewater systems. </li><li>Perform data analysis to forecast issues that may affect departmental performance standards. </li><li>Lead new wastewater treatment system infrastructure projects by communicating with contractors and Project Managers on installation and testing. </li><li>Participate in planning sessions with Work Coordinators, General Foremen, and Crew Leads in and around utility division work sites. </li><li>Develop effective work strategies and protocols to resolve issues of concern. </li><li>Train and ensure employees and crew comply with worksite safety plans. </li><li>Responsible for documenting work completed using the computerized maintenance management system. </li><li>Responsible for preparing and submitting reports and cost estimates when required. </li><li>Respond to and resolve customer complaints pertaining to wastewater treatment system issues. </li><li>May be asked to perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Requires a High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Minimum of five (5) years of related experience </li><li>Class A CDL required at time of time </li><li>Class C Wastewater Treatment License required at the time of hire </li><li>A valid driver's license is required. Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire </li></ul> <p>Other Information:</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>The City offers an excellent benefit package that includes:</p> <ul> <li>Texas Municipal Retirement System - TMRS is a required retirement plan for all full-time employees.
