You will perform required operations to assemble, test and package all sizes and types of utility, sump, sewage and effluent pumps.</p> <p>You will:</p> <ul> <li>Perform assembly operations including, oil fill, electrical connections and decal application to produce a variety of utility type pumps. </li><li>Administer high pot and unit performance tests according to predetermined standards. </li><li>Perform final packaging operations. </li><li>Perform in-process quality checks and correct non-conformances. </li></ul> <p>Key Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>6 months of recent manufacturing experience </li><li>Standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 40lbs </li><li>Steel toed shoes are required on the distribution floor. </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Teamwork environment </li></ul> <p>Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!):</p> <ul> <li>1st shift 5:30a - 2:00pm </li><li>Mandatory OT required (before shift or on weekend) </li></ul> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>The hourly pay for this role is: $17.50. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training.
