<p>Job Title: Lab Technician</p> <p>Job Description</p> <ul> <li>We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to perform laboratory and quality functions, including testing, data collection, and analysis of raw materials. </li><li>The role requires compliance with NY State Ag & Markets, FDA, USDA, and GMP policies, as well as adherence to standard operating procedures and laboratory methods. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conduct milk testing and product sample testing. </li><li>Perform powder testing and full silo batch testing. </li><li>Execute bacteria testing to ensure quality control. </li><li>Comply with all relevant regulations and policies, including NY State Ag & Markets, FDA, USDA, and GMP. </li><li>Follow standard methods for laboratory procedures and adhere to all standard operating procedures. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>AS or BS Degree in Biology or Chemistry. </li><li>Experience with laboratory instrumentation. </li><li>Knowledge in biology, chemistry, quality assurance, GMP, microbiology, wet chemistry, quality control, and data entry. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>BS Degree in Biology or Chemistry is preferred. </li><li>Open to candidates with educational knowledge in the relevant fields. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>The position offers both day and night shifts, with hours from 6am to 6pm for day shift and 6pm to 6am for night shift. </li><li>The work environment includes a laboratory setting where precision and adherence to protocols are crucial. </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, NY.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
