In this role, you will be responsible for managing the security and infrastructure teams. The security team is responsible for the organizations security stance and certifications including but not necessarily limited to SOC 2 Type 2. Infrastructure is responsible for managing our AWS accounts, CI/CD tool chain, Kubernetes clusters and AWS networking.</p> <p>You will partner closely with product, engineering and IT teams to ensure DMG's digital platforms are secure, resilient, and aligned with modern cloud architecture best practices.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <p>Security Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement a comprehensive security roadmap aligned with organizational goals. </li><li>Serve as the strategic owner of product and infrastructure security across DMG's platforms. </li><li>Develop and implement a comprehensive security roadmap aligned with organizational goals. </li><li>Oversee secure SDLC practices, threat modeling, and secure coding standards. </li><li>Identify and manage DMG's internal and external attack surface. </li><li>Lead vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and remediation strategies. </li><li>Report on key security metrics and maintain compliance with industry standards. </li><li>Promote a security-first culture across engineering and business stakeholders. </li></ul> <p>Infrastructure Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead infrastructure design for scalability, resilience, and cost optimization. </li><li>Oversee the architecture, security, and performance of DMG's AWS cloud infrastructure. </li><li>Ensure IAM, network configurations, and encryption are aligned with security best practices. </li><li>Support automation across CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and monitoring. </li><li>Collaborate with IT and Engineering to manage system uptime, backups, and disaster recovery plans. </li><li>Identify and mitigate infrastructure risks and performance bottlenecks. </li><li>Other duties as assigned by management. </li></ul> <p>What You Need:</p> <ul> <li>10+ years of experience in security engineering and cloud infrastructure. Minimum 5 years of experience as a lead or manager. </li><li>Extensive background in security engineering and cloud infrastructure management, particularly in AWS environments. </li><li>Strong understanding of web application security, network security, IAM, data protection, and encryption standards. </li><li>Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Kubernetes), and IaC tools (Terraform). </li><li>Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, OWASP). </li><li>Experience managing security and infrastructure across distributed, high-performing teams. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate complex risks to stakeholders. </li><li>Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Security Ð Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect). </li><li>Ability to manage the stress of a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Ability to meet the in-person requirements of the team and/or business needs. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Get:</p> <p>At DMG, you'll be part of an amazing team that encourages learning, growth, and advancement.
