<p>Maintenance Planner - Sofidel Tissue</p> <p>Sofidel Tissue is a leading manufacturer of tissue products for domestic and hygienic use, committed to sustainability, innovation, and operational excellence. We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to join our team at our Duncan, South Carolina facility.</p> <p>This role is critical in ensuring equipment reliability through effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of preventative and corrective maintenance activities.</p> <p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Develop maintenance plans, including materials, man-hours, activity sequencing, and required support services. </li><li>Coordinate and initiate preventative maintenance activities, including on-site measurements and parts verification. </li><li>Create short, mid, and long-term maintenance plans for equipment. </li><li>Monitor and track labor and materials in the JDE work order system; manage notifications and backlog; conduct maintenance log audits. </li><li>Assist in developing equipment inspection procedures for proper maintenance of mill equipment. Lead maintenance shift hand-off meetings and issue daily work orders for electrical and mechanical teams. </li><li>Collaborate with the Storeroom Coordinator to schedule spare parts, materials, and work order kitting for planned jobs. </li><li>Develop Gantt charts for outage jobs and projects. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all safety policies, including lockout/tagout procedures and PPE requirements; participate in incident investigations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>Minimum 5 years of mechanical experience or 3 years of related education in lieu of experience required. Maintenance planning experience preferred. </li><li>Proficiency with computerized maintenance systems preferred. Strong skills in Microsoft Office; familiarity with JDE, Client Workflow, and related tools preferred. </li><li>Ability to read blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and technical drawings. </li><li>Knowledge of industrial motor controls and troubleshooting required. </li><li>Ability to work in conditions with temperature extremes, loud noise, dust, and industrial fluids. </li><li>Must follow PPE standards (eye and ear protection, steel-toed shoes, etc.).
