Visit us online at www.arcxis.com.</p> <p>Overview: We are seeking an experienced, detailed-oriented Construction Quality Inspector and Compaction Technician to join our growing inspection team as we embark on unprecedented growth and expansion. This position will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality residential construction practices throughout the region. The inspector will be responsible for conducting comprehensive residential inspections to verify compliance with Arcxis quality standards and/or clients' standards as well as performing soil density tests for compaction certification. Come be a part of our dynamic and highly respected team of experts and professionals.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform detailed field inspections for compliance to Arcxis and/or clients' standards. </li><li>Maintain comprehensive project records, inspection results, test results and any other documentation pertaining to the inspections. </li><li>Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, residents and all other stakeholders explaining the inspection findings and their implications and construction best practices. </li><li>Foster and develop a strong relationship with Construction Managers, Assistant Construction Managers and tradesman. </li><li>Collect soil samples and deliver to lab for testing. </li><li>Perform soil density tests to verify compliance with standards. </li></ul> <p>Additional Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:</p> <ul> <li>Assisting with other service lines including but not limited to Quality Assurance Inspections, compaction testing, etc. </li></ul> <p>Reports to:</p> <ul> <li>Division / Area Manager </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Education, Experience and Desired Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>Valid Florida Driver License </li><li>Reliable transportation </li><li>Minimum 2 years experience related to construction quality inspections or general construction experience. </li><li>Customer service oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints and specifications. </li><li>Ability to work independently (but fully supported) and manage multiple inspections per day. </li><li>Strong comfort level using technology including computers, tablets, and smartphones. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibility: None</p> <p>Work Environment: Field</p> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work in various weather conditions </li><li>Ability to climb ladders </li><li>Ability to lift 20 pounds </li></ul> <p>Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:</p> <p>Full-Time Hourly Position with expectation of 40 hours / week (8 hours / day)</p> <p>Travel: Local Travel required within approximately 2 hours of primary location.
