<p>Amentum is actively seeking a Training Design and Development Specialist to support active contracts in Huntsville, AL. The position may require CONUS travel.</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>The Training Design and Development Specialist supports electronic data systems, technical editing, quality management audits, learning management systems, and instructional system design.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Training Design and Development Specialist include:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain and improve upon curriculum and instructor development processes </li></ul> <p>and products.</p> <ul> <li>Design, write, review, and edit a variety of written documents, to include, but not limited </li></ul> <p>to, manuals, SOP's, guidebooks, handbooks, briefs, instructional guides, and reports.</p> <ul> <li>Design, write, review, and edit a variety of Microsoft tools and products </li></ul> <p>such as PowerPoint and Excel.</p> <ul> <li>Maintain, improve upon, and provide technical customer service support for Huddle Software as a Service (SaaS) product. </li><li>Lead the process to prepare, schedule, implement, and document results of industry standard internal audits, especially regarding accredited programs. </li><li>Provide technical support for external, third-party audits as required by various </li></ul> <p>international and national accreditation standards.</p> <ul> <li>Maintain and improve upon an existing Quality Management System (QMS) </li></ul> <p>that is ISO 9001 compliant for the purpose of seeking appropriate organizational and</p> <p>individual credentialing, to include accreditation to viable international or national</p> <p>standards.</p> <ul> <li>Maintain and provide technical customer service support for subscription services </li></ul> <p>identified as SurveyMonkey and ClassMarker for survey and testing purposes.</p> <ul> <li>Ensure the successful attainment, and maintenance of additional credentialing for </li></ul> <p>programs such as accreditation to viable international or national standards.</p> <ul> <li>Support other types of relevant valid credentialing that serve the purpose of enhancing its mission capabilities regarding training, forensic services, and personnel certification programs. </li></ul> <p>Training Design and Development Specialist Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Proven past technical experience with operating, maintaining, and improving upon an </li></ul> <p>electronic data systems such as Huddle as a Service (SaaS) collaboration product, and subscription web-based services such as SurveyMonkey and ClassMarker.</p> <ul> <li>Superior technical writing and editing skills, to include extensive working knowledge </li></ul> <p>of Microsoft tools.</p> <ul> <li>Experienced and credentialed to conduct internal and external quality management </li></ul> <p>audits. This includes past proven performance, relevant academic study and/or</p> <p>training, and valid credentialing such as The American Society of Quality's Certified</p> <p>Quality Auditor credential.</p> <ul> <li>Experienced and credentialed with learning management systems, instructional </li></ul> <p>system design and learning outcome measurement. This includes past proven</p> <p>performance, and relevant academic study and/or training.</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience related to the development, implementation, and maintenance of </li></ul> <p>an ISO 9001 compatible QMS.</p> <ul> <li>Preference for personnel with prior public safety/military backgrounds, especially in </li></ul> <p>the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training</p> <ul> <li>Strong research, verbal and written communications skills Valid U.S. Driver's License </li><li>Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university preferred. Combination of formal education, work experience and on-the-job training will be considered </li><li>General experience with local, State, or Federal law enforcement or the US military is preferred, but not required </li><li>Must successfully pass an ATF background investigation which includes criminal history, credit/financial queries, drug use, previous employment/education verification, and DMV records check. An active ATF Public Trust Clearance is required to perform in this role.
