<p>Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Position Description:</p> <ul> <li>3-5 years' experience working as a Automotive Refinishing Technician in an automotive repair facility. </li><li>ASE Auto Refinishing Certification is preferred. </li><li>Knowledgeable regarding general shop safety, proper personal safety equipment and related specialty tools. </li><li>Provide hands-on instruction in a lab setting for adult students in both non-structural and structural analysis and damage repair. </li><li>Monitor and provide instruction in a safe working environment; compliant with federal, state and local regulations. </li><li>Available to teach at least two evenings a week as scheduled throughout the spring, summer, and fall terms. </li></ul> <p>Essential Job Functions for all ACD Instructors:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter. </li><li>Instruct students in competency-based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction. </li><li>Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment. </li><li>Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by district policy and certification/regulatory agencies. </li><li>Ensure syllabus, supply list and lesson plans are current prior to each class taught. </li><li>Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. - prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.) </li><li>Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Tulsa Tech's ACD program. </li><li>Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the ACD department. </li><li>Perform all duties as assigned by management from time to time. </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Evening</p> <p>Salary Schedule:</p> <p>Standard rate schedule for non-regular (temporary, adjunct, substitute) and regular part-time employees</p> <p>Hiring Range:</p> <p>$35 per hour</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>N/A</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>For maximum consideration, receipt of application material is July 8th.
