In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance, regulatory adherence, and efficient administration of insurance products across various states. You will focus on organizing critical items relating to compliance and regulatory filings, along with taking on additional responsibilities and providing support for a range of activities involving DOI complaints, market conduct exams, project management, and state administrative tasks.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <p>Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Coordinate responses to objections from DOIs from the relevant internal parties.</p> </li><li> <p>Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.</p> </li></ul> <p>DOI / Customer Complaints and Market Conduct Exams:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Handle Department of Insurance (DOI) complaints efficiently, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with regulatory standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in the preparation and coordination of market conduct exams, providing necessary documentation and support as required.</p> </li></ul> <p>Project Management:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support key state management projects, ensuring successful planning, execution, and completion within established timelines and budgets.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements, milestones, and deliverables.</p> </li><li> <p>Organize all reporting and tracking of key state management projects, actions, and rationale.</p> </li></ul> <p>Data Calls and Reporting:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Respond to data calls from regulatory agencies promptly and accurately, compiling necessary information and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Generate reports and analyses as needed to support regulatory submissions and internal decision-making processes.</p> </li></ul> <p>Agency Administration Activities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide administrative support for agency relationships, including maintaining communication, facilitating meetings, and coordinating documentation as necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to improve agency relationships and optimize business outcomes.</p> </li></ul> <p>Other State Administration Activities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead all state administration activities, including binding restrictions, policy exceptions, agent accommodations, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and maintain an extensive knowledge of state change history.</p> </li><li> <p>May perform competitor filing research projects.</p> </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.</p> </li><li> <p>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in all tasks.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in Systems for Electronic Rates & Form Filing (SERFF) a plus.</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Prior experience in insurance, regulatory compliance, or state management preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Annual Salary</p> <p>$65,600.00 - $129,150.00</p> <p>The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate.
