Utilizing enterprise security tools, the Information Security Analyst will be required to detect, triage, and prevent security incidents, protect sensitive information, aid in the penetration testing of network environments, collaborate with of teams to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities, and help drive security best practices across the organization. Participation in the on-call rotation is mandatory.</p> <p>The Information Security Analyst is responsible for Tier 1 Incident Response, Cyber Security Investigations, Malware Analysis, and Threat Hunting within the Security Operations Center. Participating in a team rotation program, the Analyst will aid and support the Advanced Operations, and Vulnerability Management programs within the Security Operations Team.</p> <p>Responsibility:</p> <ul> <li>Perform initial investigations on all alerts and tickets generated by security tools and close investigations or escalate as necessary. </li><li>Monitor all business assets for irregularities and anomalies. </li><li>Report and/or escalate all high and critical level incidents to leadership. </li><li>Support the development of the Security Operations team by providing insight into changes and enhancements to procedures, tools, and techniques. </li><li>Follow all guidelines and procedures to ensure task and responsibilities are completed within the defined standards and regulations. </li><li>Utilize the provided educational training programs and external resources to expand knowledge base around information security topics, trends, requirements, and best practices. </li><li>Supporting the Incident Response Program </li><li>Review, Investigate, and Respond to all security related alerts in a timely manner. </li><li>Manage and Maintain the Abuse Mailbox per SLA's </li><li>Participate in regularly scheduled trainings, tabletops, and Blue Team exercises. </li><li>Provide monthly metrics on workflow and severity of the work done. </li></ul> <p>Must haves:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or similar work experience in a related field </li><li>2+ years of cybersecurity experience in operational or tactical cyber threat analysis; experience can include one or more of the following cyber-security functions: Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Monitoring, Incident Response, Digital Forensics, Vulnerability Management </li><li>2+ years of experience as a security analyst (or related) subject matter expert that has worked across organizational boundaries to analyze cyber threats to their organization's infrastructure and services. </li><li>Working knowledge of EDR, SIEM, Azure Cloud etc. technologies </li></ul> <p>Nice to haves:</p> <ul> <li>Financial industry experience </li><li>Knowledge of advanced cyber threats, threat vectors, attacker methodology to include, tools, tactics, and procedures and how they tie into the Cyber Kill Chain or Miter ATT&CK framework. </li><li>Experience with premium threat intelligence tooling and/or open-source intelligence techniques. </li><li>Experience in malware detection and analysis using static and dynamic malware analysis methods. </li><li>Knowledge of cloud services and their attack surface. </li><li>Related industry certifications (Sec+, CTIA, CISSP) </li></ul> <p>Customers Bank is an equal opportunity employer.
