<p>Overview</p> <p>NOTE: This is an adjunct instructional position. Course assignments are made on a semester-by-semester basis and are contingent upon departmental needs, student enrollment, and scheduling availability. As such, hours are not guaranteed, and teaching opportunities may not be available immediately upon hire.</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY: Provide instruction to students in the Associate Degree Nursing Program through a variety of delivery formats (e.g.: online, face to face, virtual computer conference) at Lakeshore College. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Other duties may be assigned):</p> <p>(100%) Instruction</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for placing learning first and providing educational experiences for learners in various delivery formats, schedules, and in various places in accordance with the mission of the college inclusive of: facilitating learning of diverse students, assessing student performance, as well as instruction and outcomes, developing and maintaining current/relevant course materials, and communicating with the community, other schools, the college, the division, and team members. </li><li>Developing curriculum, including learning activities and assessments. </li><li>Work with curriculum coach to ensure state and Lakeshore design requirements are met. </li><li>Teaching/training in business and industry may be assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university is required. </li><li>A minimum of two years' (4,000 hours) of recent relevant occupational experience in a related discipline is required.
