<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cloud Engineer in Merrimack, NH.</p> <p>Duties Include:</p> <ul> <li>Hands-on deploying, scaling, and operating non-relational databases (e.g., Aerospike, Neo4j) in public cloud environments, with a strong focus on automation and CI/CD pipeline development using GitHub, Artifactory, and Jenkins </li><li>Configuring and deploying applications in public cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS </li><li>Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, OpenTofu, or ARM templates </li><li>Ability to think innovatively and automate administrative and operational tasks, using Python, Groovy, Java, Jenkins, and/or shell scripting to design, create, and deploy automated processes for installing, upgrading, and rehydrating resources across public cloud and on premise environments </li><li>Hands-on applying Markdown languages (e.g., Markdown, CommonMark, GitHub Flavored Markdown) in VS Code and modern IDEs to drive automation, maintain configuration artifacts, and streamline developer workflows </li><li>Configuring alerts and monitoring to support highly available and resilient platforms* Hands-on experience deploying, scaling, and operating non-relational databases (e.g., Aerospike, Neo4j) in public cloud environments, with a strong focus on automation and CI/CD pipeline development using GitHub, Artifactory, and Jenkins </li><li>Strong Unix/Linux knowledge and experience configuring and deploying applications in public cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS </li><li>Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, OpenTofu, or ARM templates </li><li>Ability to think innovatively and automate administrative and operational tasks, using Python, Groovy, Java, Jenkins, and/or shell scripting to design, create, and deploy automated processes for installing, upgrading, and rehydrating resources across public cloud and on-premise environments </li><li>Hands-on experience applying Markdown languages (e.g., Markdown, CommonMark, GitHub Flavored Markdown) in VS Code and modern IDEs to drive automation, maintain configuration artifacts, and streamline developer workflows </li><li>Experience configuring alerts and monitoring to support highly available and resilient platforms </li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to triage and resolve production issues and outages </li><li>Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams </li></ul> <p>Bonus Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Public cloud certification (Azure or AWS) </li><li>Experience deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters in a public cloud environment </li><li>Experience designing, developing, or integrating AI agents, including orchestration of workflows, tool use, and interaction with cloud-native services </li></ul>
