<p>Saint Eugene School</p> <p>707 Tuckahoe Road</p> <p>Yonkers, NY 10710</p> <p>Saint Eugene's School is seeking various classroom assistants to assist in primary and elementary grades. These assistants would have a full-time position, and gain experience or further their experience in the classroom.</p> <p>Classroom Assistants perform many leadership, organizational and classroom management tasks to support both teachers and students. Their duties and responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Helping teachers with lesson preparation, providing feedback and suggestions based on student observation, and including collecting materials and setting up equipment/materials </li><li>Reviewing lessons with students on a one-on-one basis or in small groups </li><li>Supervising students in class, between classes and during recreation periods and field trips, and in absence of teacher </li><li>Assisting with tracking attendance, and grading assignments as requested by the teacher. </li><li>Giving extra help to students who need special accommodations or are struggling with a concept </li><li>Assisting students with special learning requirements </li><li>Attending faculty meetings and parent conferences as possible </li><li>Collaborating with the Teacher to identify students' issues and recommend solutions </li><li>Observing Archdiocesan, Central Westchester Region, school and class rules and regulations </li></ul> <p>Requirements and Pay:</p> <p>High School diploma or equivalent</p> <p>Pay is $16.50 an hour, with a full time, five day a week schedule.</p>
