<p>Schedule Information</p> <p>Monday- Friday 7:00am-3:30pm</p> <p>Based out of: York Hospital Traveling to: Apple Hill & WSRH& possible other locations</p> <p>General Summary</p> <p>Repairs, calibrates, tests, and maintains a variety of imaging-related equipment or systems. at an advanced specialist skills level. This position supports equipment such as, but not limited to: Computed Tomography, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Cath Lab and linear Accelerators.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Performs preventative maintenance inspections and electrical safety testing for supported imaging equipment and corrects problems encountered. </li><li>Analyzes supported imaging equipment for cause(s) of failure. Isolates, tests and replaces defective parts. </li><li>Uses available test equipment to test functionality of supported imaging equipment. Troubleshoots problems and repairs the equipment. </li><li>Makes necessary operational adjustments to supported imaging equipment. Takes sensitivity, selectivity, and accuracy measurements. </li><li>Responds to emergency calls for supported imaging equipment. Troubleshoots equipment problems and repairs hardware as needed. </li><li>Monitors and assists manufacturers as needed to ensure maximum repair efficiency with minimum down time at lowest possible cost. </li><li>Orders necessary parts and maintains required inventory. </li><li>Interfaces directly with radiologists, technologists, vendor service engineers and vendor sales representatives. </li><li>Provides service support for all types of imaging equipment including highly specialized areas such as Computed Tomography, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Cath Lab and Linear Accelerators </li><li>Utilizes Biomedical's CMMS to inventory, document required information on the modality and completes works orders as required. </li><li>Configures modalities for Dicom store, print, send, MPPS, MWL, and Query/Retrieve as required. </li><li>Configures modalities for networking using wireless/hardware connectivity </li><li>Configures, installs and maintains PACS Diagnostic and Clinical workstations and associated PACS devices such as CD/DVD Burners, Laser Imagers and CR Readers. </li><li>Troubleshoots connectivity issues with modalities sending to PACS and receiving MWL while working closely with IT and PACS. </li><li>Assists with budget and contract management data and support for supported equipment </li><li>Provides project management support for equipment and systems being installed at WellSpan Health. </li><li>Works with IT Security Team (WellSOC) to ensure data security on all devices and modalities that are part of a Biomedical or Imaging System. </li></ul> <p>Common Expectations:</p> <ul> <li>Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards. </li><li>Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings. </li><li>Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation. </li><li>Assists with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies. </li><li>Maintains appropriate records, reports, and files as required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Education:</p> <ul> <li>Associates Degree Required </li></ul> <p>Work Experience:</p> <ul> <li>8 years Relevant experience. Required </li></ul> <p>Licenses:</p> <ul> <li>Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician Upon Hire Required or </li><li>Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist Upon Hire Required </li></ul> <p>Driver's License Statement:</p> <p>Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence.
