Read below to see if the requirements might be a good fit for you:</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>This position manages the Denver Botanic Gardens membership program and works closely with the department coordinators in the implementation of all stages of the membership program including but not limited to, acquisition, solicitation, benefit fulfillment, benefit events and associated activities. This position will also interact directly and collaboratively with the Visitor Services Manager, Visitor Experience Assistant Manager and Resource Center Manager. This position leads and develops a team of people, ensuring excellence in customer service. This role requires excellent customer service leadership, skills, flexibility and initiative.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>General Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Prepares, manages, and maintains project specific revenue and expense budgets and necessary reports. </li><li>Ensures accuracy of member records and data in Ticketure and Salesforce. </li><li>Focuses on continuous streamlining and improvement of membership database management. </li><li>Manages membership materials including acquisition packages, renewal solicitation packages, benefit materials and appropriate signage. </li><li>Leads and develops the membership team. </li><li>Develops and implements membership recruitment and upgrade strategies. </li><li>Manages membership communication and messaging. </li><li>Creates and maintains Membership procedures. </li><li>Updates all current membership information included on the web page, magazine, general letters, membership brochures, benefit vehicles and signage. </li><li>Works closely with Visitor Services Manager, Visitor Experience Assistant Manager, Resource Center Manager and Volunteer Manager to ensure cohesion among department staff. </li><li>Coordinates with Development to update/maintain/clean up the Salesforce System. </li><li>Works collaboratively with other department managers. </li><li>Maintains the standards of professionalism, including maintaining a positive, solution oriented. team demeanor-set by Gardens' CEO and Board of Trustees. </li><li>Supports all Membership activities during high volume periods. </li><li>Regular attendance at the worksite may be required. As with all positions at Denver Botanic Gardens, the incumbent must be in good performance standing to be eligible for remote work. Remote work is at the discretion of management at all times. </li><li>All Gardens employees must be committed to the mission of connecting people with plants, especially plants from the Rocky Mountain region and similar regions around the world, providing delight and enlightenment to everyone. </li></ul> <p>Position Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. </li><li>Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. </li><li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. </li><li>Must have proven excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills in dealing with the public. </li><li>Ability to maintain stability under pressure and able to deal well with stressful situations. </li><li>Ability to be flexible and willing to modify plans, when necessary, throughout the day. </li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays. </li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Suite products, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook and Teams. </li><li>Ability to work overtime as necessary. </li><li>Must be a positive representative of the Gardens both internally and externally at all times. </li><li>Must work with respect and cooperation at all times with fellow employees and the public. </li><li>Must be committed to working safely at all times. </li></ul> <p>Experience/Education:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma / GED and/or combination of education and equivalent experience is required. </li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory position is required.
