<p>NUTRITIONIST</p> <p>Are you interested in Providing routine nutrition care to high-risk participants?</p> <ul> <li>Do you want to work where your professional growth and development are a priority? </li><li>Do you have at least one year experience in clinical or community nutrition.? </li><li>Do you want to work where the employer matches a portion of a retirement plan? </li><li>Are you willing to provide comprehensive health care of the highest quality to everyone in our community, regardless of ability to pay? </li></ul> <p>In this role you will:</p> <ul> <li>Perform nutrition assessment and certification, counseling, nutrition education and referrals for WIC applicants and participants. </li><li>Develop educational materials for demonstrations, audio-visual presentations, or other educational activities for participants. </li><li>Collect anthropometric and hematological data. </li><li>Assist in training paraprofessional WIC staff, agency staff and health care providers. </li><li>Participate in quality assurance activities. </li><li>Provide follow-up nutrition education. </li><li>Participate in nutrition in services and in policy-making staff meetings. </li></ul> <p>The successful applicant will offer:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in public health nutrition, nutrition, food, and nutrition; R.D. preferred.
