And that's where you come in.</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Hitachi Rail Honolulu is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Automatic Train Supervision (ATS), SCADA and Telecommunication Systems Technical Administrator. As the successful candidate your ideas for continuous improvement and creativity are welcome. The position is based in Pearl City, HI.</p> <p>Technical Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>To oversee the operations and the correct functionality of the ATS, SCADA and Telecommunications systems and equipment to meet the performance requirements in the contract. </li><li>Perform troubleshooting, identification and resolution of System and subsystem to support field technicians in the diagnosis and correction of faults. </li><li>Repair outages with ATS, SCADA, CCTV cameras, Network Switches, Datacenter Servers, the access control system (ACS) and the intrusion detection system (IDS). </li><li>Complete assigned operational, equipment failure, safety and other reports as required. </li><li>Performs routine, preventive maintenance and unscheduled corrective maintenance, inspection, adjustments, testing, cleaning, and proper maintenance on assigned equipment in accordance with, schematics, operations manuals, and manufacturers maintenance instructions. </li><li>Coordinates with the Engineering Fault Controller and provides forecasts on the time to repair Systems faults. </li><li>Completes assigned operational, equipment failure, safety and other reports as required. </li><li>Participates in conducting training of ATS, SCADA and Telecommunication system technicians. </li><li>Analyzes log files to troubleshoot any problem or to provide predictive maintenance for the systems. </li><li>Periodically downloads and archive System, video and voice log files. </li><li>Performs related duties as required. </li><li>Ensure the effective implementation of first-line response maintenance safety standards. </li><li>The role requires flexibility and efficiency which require shift rotation, working on weekends and holidays which is typical of major infrastructure projects, and operational rail transit systems. </li></ul>
