<p>This position serves as primary care physician for a limited panel of patients and reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer, Primary Care and Community Medicine at the VA Outpatient Clinic located in Sevierville, TN.</p> <p>NOTE: This announcement will be open until the position is filled. Quillen VAMC. </li><li>Maintains clinical proficiency and familiarity with the Computerized Patient Record System while providing continuity of care for a panel of patients. </li><li>Provides comprehensive outpatient care for a panel of adult patients through a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) Model, also utilizing Tele-health as a resource of providing care. </li><li>Serves as a provider who is highly skilled in the management of a patient's primary care needs or sub-specialty evaluation and treatment. </li><li>Contributes to the achievement of quality of care standards, efficiency, process improvement and patient satisfaction. </li><li>Writes orders for diagnostic testing, prescribes medications and consultation to specialty services utilizing VA patient care applications. </li><li>Serves as clinical preceptor for mid-level practitioners. </li><li>Practices in accordance with professional standards, values and with a commitment to service excellence. </li><li>Establish and maintain a collegial relationship with other clinic staff. </li><li>Maintains a safe environment for staff and patients conducive to maintaining patient satisfaction and staff morale. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
