We currently have an opportunity for a Millwright to join our team at our St. Louis, MO location. Compensation is $34.11 per hour. As a Millwright, you will have overall maintenance responsibility in the elevator.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain and keep equipment in working order</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding how equipment works and how to diagnose problems</p> </li><li> <p>Greasing and oiling equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Patching and lining spouts</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining open belt conveyors, bucket elevators and drag conveyors</p> </li><li> <p>The care for and use of power tools</p> </li><li> <p>Cutting, welding, and fabrication as necessary</p> </li><li> <p>Working in confined spaces</p> </li><li> <p>Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems</p> </li><li> <p>Unloading railcars as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Cleaning as needed</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School diploma or GED required</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively</p> </li><li> <p>Understand instruction and follow direction</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to solve problems and work as a team</p> </li><li> <p>Must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs unassisted</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, or snow</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to work a flexible work schedule and overtime when required; subject to call in for equipment breakdowns</p> </li><li> <p>Candidates must successfully pass an online mechanical aptitude test in order to be hired</p> </li></ul> <p>Richardson is recognized as a global leader in agriculture and food processing with over 4,000 employees across the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Europe.
